It is mainly set up for wet plate collodion photography process, but will also have equipment for normal darkroom developing and printing.

    Sustainability at SAGA:
SAGA is focused on minimizing waste and environmental impact in general, which also impacts our darkroom routines. We encourage our visiting artists to use eco-friendly or recycled materials, reducing chemical use when possible, conserving water, and recycling film canisters and packaging.

We advocate for reusing used items, which can be seen throughout our place, and in our darkroom as well. The darkroom building it self  is a transformed industrial container, and most of our equipments in the darkroom is bought on the second hand marked. We encourage photographers to think sustainability in their art process by buying used gear and being intentional with their shots to limit film and processing waste.
