FILMVERKSTADEN
Filmverkstaden is a centre of knowledge, inspiration and opportunity for analogue film and photography. We are an independent artist-run film and photography lab, aiming to improve the opportunities for artists to work with independent audio-visual arts while raising interest for audio-visual art in general. A national and international platform where artists and creative professionals involved with audio-visual arts can meet, create, develop, show and share their art. A place for development and experiment, through exchange of knowledge and inspiration. Filmverkstaden provides working facilities, such as a fully equipped and functioning darkroom, specialised master classes and workshops, film screenings, interesting events and projects. Filmverkstaden is also hosting Fringe Gallery, dedicated to experimental analogue film and photography.
It is possible to contact Filmverkstaden directly for other residency opportunities outside of the Nordic Analog Network.
