Oslo Negativ is the annual photofestival in Oslo, Norway, organized by the Preus National Museum of photography in collaboration with Aars Møller art collection.
This year the photofestival is taking place in the old National Gallery in the city centre of Oslo, and there will be more than 40 galleries and groups putting up their exhibition. The main exhibitions are organized by the Preus National Museum of photography and showing Martin Parr, Anton Corbijn, Lucile Boiron and Anya Tsaruk and the festival theme is “Closer”.

The exhibition “Resident Host” gathers the work of 13 of the photographers organizing the darkrooms in the Nordic Analog Network. The festival is also utilizing the former workrooms of the National Gallery and our exhibition will be on show in the old photostudio and darkrooms of the National Gallery staff photographers. All the photographers on show in this exhibition work in widely different processes, as they look closer at the medium itself and how it is utilized by both creator and viewer.
